Cybersecurity
Mitigate Risk, Increase Resiliency, and Become a Supplier of Choice
- If your company were attacked, how long could you survive being offline?
- Is your IT team or managed service provider (MSP) up-to-date on cybersecurity technology and best practices?
- Are you a Defense Industrial Base (DIB) supplier or manufacturer?

Work with the Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership (GaMEP) at Georgia Tech’s cybersecurity experts to help you create a cybersecurity program that meets your goals. GaMEP can help you start or update a cybersecurity system that protects your company’s valuable data and allows you to become a trusted supplier of choice to new and existing customers.

Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
Compliance
Achieve the appropriate level of CMMC in accordance with NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 2 requirements.
CMMC is a standard that the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) uses to ensure that DoD contractors implement cybersecurity measures to safeguard controlled unclassified information (CUI.)
However, navigating the CMMC framework and achieving compliance can be time-consuming and far from simple. Companies must be fully compliant by 2025 or will lose the ability to bid for or receive future DoD contracts.
GaMEP’s CMMC assistance services will help you gain a better understanding of the CMMC’s technical requirements and prepare you for certification so that you can obtain your position as a secured supplier.
GaMEP will:
- Provide training on NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 2 requirements as required by Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), including controlled unclassified information (CUI), CMMC certification levels and requirements, and assessment framework.
- Assist with the development of a system security plan (SSP) and plan of actions and milestones (POAM).
- Administer a pre-audit assessment.
By receiving CMMC assistance, you can:
- Lessen the impact of a cyber attack
- Put measures in place to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data
- Achieve your position as a secured supplier
