Lean Boot Camp: Training a Lean Champion

Learn the most common lean tools and techniques (VSM, 6S, Set-up Reduction, TPM, etc.) through our interactive simulations and how to apply them using rapid process improvement (Kaizen) events.

ISO 14001 36-Hour Certified Lead Auditor Training

By

Learn to approach ISO 14001 registration from the professional auditor’s point of view by focusing on key audit skills that enhance auditing capability. You will also learn critical skills to help you gain insight into the ISO 14001:2015 requirements, audit and create effective documentation, and manage a successful ISO 14001 implementation.

This course is offered in cooperation with AQS Management Systems, an Exemplar Global Certified/ANSI Accredited Course Provider. This course is certified in the Exemplar Global Certification Program, and meets the training portion of the requirements for related auditor certification.

Leading for Organizational Excellence

In this course, participants will gain an understanding of the basic framework of effective leadership. Instructors will cover the importance of building and engaging leadership teams within your organization. As a participant, you will learn how to overcome the barriers and challenges in today’s manufacturing environment, and to successfully engage a culture of organizational excellence.

This course contains 1 ½ days of instruction. Day one is held in a traditional classroom setting and day two, which includes ½ day of online instruction will be held 6 weeks later. Students will not receive a certificate until after the online portion of the course has been completed. If student doesn’t attend a total of 1 ½ days of training, the student will not be awarded credit for the course.

Creating Metrics to Drive Performance

By

Learn how to translate business and manufacturing information in a way that improves decision making and guides the organization towards achieving its strategic objectives. Learn what to measure, what not to measure, and how to use those measurements to optimize operations and avoid pitfalls. This course will teach managers how to communicate metrics and generate reports through visual management tools to guide and encourage team members. Proven management techniques to ensure the sustainability of gains achieved will be taught. Additionally, the course will help bridge the gap between understanding financial statements to developing justifications to conduct project work that supports continual improvement.

Implementing Your ISO 9001:2015 System

Companies that want to register to ISO 9001:2015 are faced with the task of putting new systems in place, and adjusting current systems to meet the requirements of the standard. This course helps you prepare an implementation plan that will meet the new ISO 9001:2015 requirements and prepare you for your certification audit. Hands-on activities enables learners to experience a portion of planning for the implementation process. They can then use the information they gain to put together a plan of action for their own organization.
