This course will prepare you to take the ISO 50001 Auditor Personal Certification Exam, which is administered by the Institute for Energy Management Professionals (IEnMP).

The online pre-course  Introduction to ISO 50001 is included with your registration and must be completed prior to attending the classroom training.

Changes have been made to the ISO 14001 Standard that affect organizations registered (certified) to ISO 14001. This course helps you prepare an implementation plan to meet the new requirements and prepare you for your re-registration audit. Hands-on activities will enable learners to experience a portion of planning for the implementation process, which they can then use to draft a plan of action for their own organization.

Changes to the Standard effective in 2015 will affect companies registered to ISO 14001. This course helps you determine where the new standard changes requirements and where it stays the same. The course will cover the changed elements of the new standard. NOTE: This 1-day course is identical to Day 1 of the Implementation course ENV 1324P.

Companies that want to register to ISO 9001:2015 are faced with the task of putting new systems in place, and adjusting current systems to meet the requirements of the standard. This course helps you prepare an implementation plan that will meet the new ISO 9001:2015 requirements and prepare you for your certification audit. Hands-on activities enables learners to experience a portion of planning for the implementation process. They can then use the information they gain to put together a plan of action for their own organization.

Participants will learn efficient project management techniques focused on reducing risk, improving communication, and reducing project completion times. The reasoning behind this course is to demonstrate the importance of cross-functional teams, a robust planning process, visual project boards, and holding efficient project communication meetings.
