Environmental Compliance
Have you been fined by the EPA for not complying with environmental regulations? If so, you are aware that fines can easily add up and affect your bottom line. If not, do you know all of the environmental regulations that your organization needs to comply with? If you don’t, then how do you know you are in compliance?

Having an environmental engineer inspect your facility to identify any issues and work with you on a corrective action plan is very valuable. It can help your company become compliant with the regulations that apply to your organization and boost profitability.
Approach
Through an objective examination of your organization, Georgia Tech will work with you to identify and take corrective action for environmental issues in areas such as air permits, wastewater, storm water, hazardous waste, spill prevention control and countermeasures (SPCC), universal waste, used oil, the risk management program (RMP), and the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) requirements.
Georgia Tech will make a site visit to:
- Review plans, permits, and records
- Conduct a facility walk-through to observe operations
- Communicate findings from on-site assessment
- Develop an assessment and report that focuses on the company’s level of compliance with respect to relevant environmental regulations
This site visit will help you:
- Identify regulations that affect your organization
- Recognize situations that are not in compliance with regulations
- Outline a plan to take corrective measures
- Gain the tools necessary to keep up with changing and new regulations
Benefits
Upon implementing recommended changes, your company will:
- Become compliant with environmental regulations
- Avoid costly fines
- Attract new business
- Improve profitability
- Increase customer satisfaction and retention
