Kaizen

Kaizen

Is your organization ready take ownership in assessing its processes and implementing change? Are processes going to be examined on a regular basis to instill continuous improvement?

By organizing and running Kaizen, or Rapid Process Improvement events, you will be able to make quick assessments, conduct necessary training, and take action in a short period of time in order to experience immediate results throughout any area of your organization.

Kaizen

Approach

Georgia Tech will make a site visit to assess your operations, train your organization on Lean principles, establish and execute plans through Kaizen events, and work with you to monitor results. Georgia Tech will act as facilitators and coaches in this process and will teach your team how to run successful Kaizen events. By learning how to run a Kaizen event, you will be able to:

  • Foster an environment for employee suggestions
  • Encourage team building
  • Focus on customer improvement
  • Open up lines of communication throughout your organization
  • Ensure that the team is aligned with a common goal

Kaizen events can be applied to any area of an organization or to any type of organization.

Benefits

Through executing a Kaizen event, your organization will:

  • Outline your objectives
  • Assess your current situation
  • Identify opportunities
  • Be able to take action
  • Experience immediate results
  • Improve upon successes
